I’ve been using Bold BI regularly, and it’s been easy to use and set up. It has a clean, simple interface, but still lets you build powerful dashboards and reports. I also like that it connects to lots of different data sources and works well for embedded analytics. It feels practical and flexible, whether you’re building for a small team or a larger organization.

Overall, it’s straightforward, reliable, and does what you need without being complicated.

So far, I honestly haven’t faced any issues with Bold BI. Everything has been working smoothly for me, and I haven’t run into any problems yet. At this point, I don’t have any dislikes to mention.

Bold BI provides a powerful and flexible analytics platform that is easy to implement and integrate with various data sources. The dashboard designer is intuitive, allowing both technical and non-technical users to build meaningful visualizations quickly. Its ability to connect directly to databases, APIs, and web services makes it highly suitable for enterprise-level reporting. I also appreciate the strong customization options, embedding capabilities, and the overall performance when handling large datasets. Customer support has also been responsive and helpful whenever assistance is needed.

While Bold BI is feature-rich, there are areas that can be improved. Some advanced configurations require deeper technical knowledge, and certain UI components can feel less polished compared to other enterprise BI tools. Updates or version upgrades occasionally require manual adjustments to retain existing settings. Additionally, performance can be affected when working with extremely complex dashboards unless optimized carefully. Improving documentation for more advanced use cases would also be beneficial.

The main drawback of Bold BI is the amount of time it takes to set up dashboard templates at first. However, with the introduction of their new AI features—which I am looking forward to exploring—I believe this challenge will soon be a thing of the past.

Occasional setup hiccups and the desire for more AI features.

I use Bold BI to let customers analyze their sales data in real-time, enabling them to slice and dice data and customize presentations, which boosts client satisfaction and delivers a key solution for meaningful insights.

Once you learn the basics, Bold BI is pretty smooth to use. The drag-and-drop interface makes dashboard creation quick, and the variety of charts and connectors helps a lot. I use it a few times a week to track team data, and it’s been reliable for most of my work. I also like that it integrates easily with other platforms we already use

Setting it up for the first time took some time, and I had to look up tutorials to understand a few features. Some advanced customizations need a bit of technical experience. Customer support is responsive but sometimes slower on complex queries

None of these are blockers, but they’re areas for improvement.

We’ve also run into more bugs when using Docker and Kubernetes compared to Windows, so it would be nice if testing was more balanced across environments. Lastly, it would be great if paginated reports were built into Bold BI instead of needing a separate product.
