CylanceOPTICS offers threat detection and prevention. Its machine learning based approach ensures real time protection. This has an impact on our business by reducing the risk of data breaches.

I use this software for work on a daily basis. I greatly admire the intuitiveness of the portal. I've tried to use portals that are not intuitive and it makes a world of a difference. Being able to navigate to the machine and the issue quickly is important in a fast-paced business, and this not only will keep machines secure, it allows myself and others at the company know what happens and when in a short amount of time.

It took me a while to evaluate the dislikes. If i had to say something here, I would say when I click on the support view of a particular client, it asks me if i am sure I want to access that portal. I do understand it adds a layer of security, but there isn't a validation step. Simply click ok or cancel.

Highly recommend this software. Definitely stands up to the test.

We require all machines that we manage to have this software installed, and it has allowed us to recognize what is being blocked which then allows us to waive it or keep it quarantined. It takes the stance of guilty until proven innocent and with security becoming more and more important, that is key.

CylanceOPTICS has a lot of different things going for it, but two of the best features are the System Isolation , and Threat Intelligence. There isn't anything else on the market that compares to what CylanceOPTICS does specifically with these features

I love the peace of mind that Cylance brings. Cylance Protect is a great product but it lacked some tools for digging in to what was happening. I love how easy Optics makes it to look into what happened on a device. And then how easy it is to make changes. We also love the support we have gotten through Cylance. This is one of the few companies who will sit down with you and go over to try and help you improve your processes.

Our main issue with Cylance right now is they are all over the place. You have a different portal for every product that you use. That can be time consuming and frustrating to keep up with. That said they are working towards bringing all those pieces together.

If you are using Protect you want to add Optics. This product is a great addition to Protect.

We have been able to focus on other areas of the IT industry by not having to worry as much about AV. The benefits of cylance over about every other AV are enormous. With cylance we know we are getting solid protection against threats. Not only that but we are getting a product that doesnt cripple the system it is running on.

The tool is intuitive, it has pre-established rules to enable and disable, depending on the requirement for the team, as well as determining an action on the team when that rule is met. Regarding the programming of custom rules, it must be done with the phyton programming language, which costs a bit of work if you do not master programming, in particular, the dashboard gives you an overview

I don't think there is a lot to dislike about this product.

I would recommend this to everyone as it is a nice application and easy to Deploy.

We have had few incidents where we wanted to understand what's going on in the machines. This really helped us identify which machine had what issues.

I like how this software keeps our computers protected. We have had several incidents where we needed this to dig into what was happening on our computers. This helped us drill down and find what was happening.

We dont have much control as users but we leave that to our IT personnel. Our than that not much to dislike.

We are able to have peace of mind that our computers are protected and that if there is something that gets through we can find out what happened. One of the main benefits in this product is how light it is. This does not make our machines run slow like other products.

The granular review of all the alerts on the home page, and the possible causes are very intuitive.

The application install actually caused quite a significant slowdown on our servers. For this reason, internally we have a protocol to 100% avoid this program on servers. Only installations for workstations.

Beware if your servers have anything less than 2012R2 for servers. If a machine has high IO (even workstations), we've found this app to be problematic.

Security monitoring for possible malicious processes and services.

The Cylance Protect is a solid product, stands up next to industry leaders. Easy to deploy across entire network and simple to use. Rules were easy to create and roll out also. This is designed to pair with it and on workstations we have had little or no problems.

If deployed on a file server, real time scanning locks up files you are trying to open. Even if you make a rule to just watch and not run live it impacts files randomly. support was of no help, we just killed the service and files opened immediately. We used to use McAfee that included HIPS but this is not available with Cylance so you need to find an additional solution for that.

Replaced a different AV product. Cost savings was biggest benefit.
