Its not really self informative and can be tricky to pull the information you need

The seamless integration from Admissions to Enrollment to then Tuition Management. Everything is online from the Application and any forms to upload such as recommendation forms. There is a committee review so if anyone is remote on the committee they can see all of a candidates information. Then when it comes time to enroll all of the tuition and fees are automatically entered in the Tuition Management account. Time saving.

I am not sure there is anything I particularly dislike except that we could be using more of the system. It is all about training.

So we moved to continuous enrollment and when we did we really had more issues on the Tuition Management side but we also did not have a way to track "contracts in EM. We now use the integrated contracts as a annual deposit form so it opens up their tuition account with all the financials.

Overall, the platform’s ability to create applications, inquiry forms, school forms, and checklists makes it a very effective solution for managing the admissions process.

Since my last review, I’ve seen clear improvements in how the platform maintains and updates candidate records, which has helped make our internal workflows more organized and efficient. The candidate experience design has also been enhanced, providing a cleaner and more user-friendly interface that makes navigation easier for applicants.

I value the workflows and the family experience through the admissions process.

Some components are not as updated. I believe this is coming soon.

All-in-one portal for families.

One of the most-cited strengths is how well EMS connects to other Blackbaud products (tuition billing, financial aid, SIS, etc.). Users appreciate that data flows automatically — for example, admissions data moving into billing and student records without manual imports.

While the system has many features, that depth can also make it hard to use or overwhelming, especially for occasional users. Tasks like building contracts, assigning payments, or navigating the backend can be tricky for non-technical staff.

Inefficient, paper-heavy workflows

I appreciate the seamless integration of Blackbaud Enrollment Management System with various necessary tools and processes, making it very efficient for managing our K-12 school's enrollment from application to payment, and eventually into our Blackbaud Education Management. The flexibility that the system offers is impressive; it allows us to choose the best software for different parts of the enrollment process, such as using it solely for contracts while opting for different software for applications. This adaptability ensures we have the best solutions tailored to our specific needs. The support provided by Blackbaud is also commendable, especially in assisting with the application process, ensuring any complications are addressed smoothly. The initial setup of Blackbaud Enrollment Management System was very easy, and having Blackbaud's support available through every step was particularly helpful.

The application process can be tricky.

I find Blackbaud Enrollment Management System integrates seamlessly across application, payment, and contract processes, offering flexibility in software use, which enhances our school's operations. Despite application challenges, their support effectively assists us through problems.

I have used several LMS programs and this is the best one by far because of the seamless integration across all fronts. Admission contracts flowing over into TM has created a much smoother process for our finance department and has lessened their workload significantly. Being able to enroll a candidate with all the information already given through the admissions process has made the academic side of things extremely helpful as well.

Keeping track of candidates and their progress is easy and has allowed for our admission progress to be helpful for both us and our candidates. It was easy to implement our enrollment forms into the admissions process, and we have seen admissions documents filled out and returned in a timely manner. Outstanding admissions documents have decrease significantly which is definitely a result of the checklist feature.

I don't like the fact that the parent can't see the checklist once their student is enrolled. There are times when we have to enroll a child before the checklist is complete due to late enrollment.

I love that everything for admissions can be in one place and it is seamless to move someone from a candidate to a student.

I don't have any specific dislikes at this time.
