We got the Barracuda Web Security software setup quickly. We were able to create different groups of users with specific web filtering rules. The product works great and I love how it will block site that are not categorized. Customer service was great and helped us with any questions we had. It was very easy to integrate with our existing infrastructure.

None at this time, it meets our needs for what we were looking for.

It’s super easy to set up and manage. I like that it handles security and access control without needing a bunch of separate tools. The zero trust access and traffic monitoring features work well without slowing anything down.

The interface could be a bit more user friendly in some areas when digging into detailed logs or policies. Also, initial setup might feel a little tricky if you’re new to SASE solutions.

Good UI and easy to understand for end user, as it is self explanatory in nature.

There is no anything to dislike. everything was great. just add more features according to change in industry.

User unlimited access will be revoked. all spam/malicious sites will be blocked thorug this.

Works well and is easy to manage. The appliance filters malicious websites and content that shouldn't be on your local network.

The appliance only filters content when you are working in the office where the appliance is located. You need Content Shield if you need filtering from remote locations.

SSL Inspection is great and content filtering works much better than any other vendor's devices.

I really like how much I can customize the settings for users, computers, sites, and even IP addresses. Barracuda Web Security and Filtering really lets me drill down into the individual settings for all of my endpoints and black-or white-list ports, sites, or even applications. It allowed me to let our CEO connect to Facebook but keep the rest of the staff off of it.

Right now, because of Covid, I have remote users that are not protected because they are not connected through the VPN. We just don't have any extra licenses. A remote option for the on-premise device would add value to it. We have also found that https filtering is a bit more difficult to setup because it looks like we would have to have a certificate on each machine that communicates with our Barracuda device for https filtering to work. I'm working on getting it setup, but it seems like a lot of work for https filtering.

If you are looking for for a complete web filtering solution that will also help block malware, take a look at the Barracuda Web Security and Filtering device. It has options and is customizable for any and all businesses, and it is not a device that can be circumvented.

Since incorporating Barracuda in our network, our malware has nearly been eradicated and my calls for help have gone down. We've been able to keep efficiency up and downtime to a minimum because we just haven't had the same issues we were having before we were protected by the Barracuda device. We have been able to comply with policies that we were struggling with before. The Barracuda Web Security and Filtering device is HIPAA compliant, which is what we need.
