Azure web apps provides my team a secure and fully managed service that enables us to deploy business intelligence applications with minimal environment setup. The service supports various programming languages, especially Python, and integrates seamlessly with our on-premises SQL Server system, even for data-intensive workflows.

The limited workflow customization and infrastructure control sometimes require additional effort for workarounds.

My business intelligence team uses Azure Web Apps to develop self-service analytics dashboards, which we embed into our internally developed applications for workgroups across the company. The service enables us to integrate various components into our analytics workflow, including Copilot, SQL, and CRM system APIs. Azure Web Apps helps us focus on enhancing our workflow rather than managing infrastructure and resources.

The thing i would like most in azure is free credits offering for new comers.

Need to support customer for the basic subscription as well.

By use of monitoring tool we can easily able to identify all those errors. It's the main benefit for us. One of the most lovely cloud service provider.

Azure Web Apps support multiple languages. It supports Java, Dot Net, PHP, Python and many more. It easily integrates with various IDE, e.g., VS code, VS studio, etc. We

The web App does not have hybrid features as of now. Azure should work in this area. As a service, we expect a multi-cloud system with CI/CD. There should also be a few more programming languages.

We have hosted lots of web applications, Mobile apps and Functions apps. This service is so powerful that we can develop multiple software using multiple programming languages. We also got CI/CD and various environments.

I love it because it is easy to deploy apps to the cloud, combine multiple apps, automatic high availability and scaling, low cost for my enterprise, highly secure, integration with IDE, no server maintenance and so many to list out

I found some limits on installing third party software and management tools. Tried to use remote desktop, but not available. Apart from this everything is excellent

Application development is a real magic in Azure. Inbuilt AI support is superb.

Very easy to quickly deploy a working web application to Azure, and lots of flexibility to deploy from different sources with different triggers.

Lots of options for advanced features where applicable to your use case.

Some advanced features require higher level App Service Plan than would be otherwise applicable to our use case

Nothing as such about dislike, we have to explore more

For developing and hosting website in the cloud

1. Easy to manage project task , and backlogs and track progress same like jira

2 . Manage spring easily

2. No need for extra tools for manage the git repository allow all functionality to manage code like branches, Pull request, Review code and etc.

3. Allow retrospective so easy to share feedback regarding spring

AzureWebApps is Paas . Gives more security to authenticate user to log in by using azure AD. Alos as developer I like slot development

There will be limitations on 3rd party software management tool , so ideally it will be great if provide support with 3rd party tool

Our azure function we host on Azure web apps .

Azure makes it simple to migrate your onprem sites to the cloud. It is also very cost effective since you will not need to spin up a costly VM to run your apps. Azure web Apps also gives you the ability to leverage tools and performance enhancements without having to build out expensive infrastructure.

There are very few downsides. One possible downside would be that Azure only supports certain application configurations so if your app isn't supported you will need to either re-write the app or run it on a VM.

When we dicided to migrate to the cloud we had to move our apps to either a hosting service. The cost was somewhat prohibitive. Azure Web Apps gave us the opportunity to not only save money but improve the performance and security of our apps.

Azure is a refined PAAS, SAAS application that makes our work on cloud more flexible and also provides us various tools at a single place that need to be used during a project development or reusability.

One disadvantage can be concluded that for more than 750 hours of time, there is a charge applicable that some users may not find friendly or easy to pay if they are just a newbie to the platform.

It provides more than 200 products or services in one place that can benefit the users for scalability and on-the-go use of various frameworks and tools required in development.
