What do you like best about Azure Linux Virtual Machines?

We switched from Ubuntu to Azure Linux 3 for our primary on-prem and cloud VMs and it has helped reduce our maintenance and deployment times.

What do you dislike about Azure Linux Virtual Machines?

Package selection is slim (but not a problem if you're primarily deploying as a docker host...)

What problems is Azure Linux Virtual Machines solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are able to deploy new VMs faster and they require less maintenance.

What do you like best about Azure Linux Virtual Machines?

Azure Linux VM are most reliable and scalable and we can use scale sets to increase and decrease machines based on the demand and it can be easily connected to various Azure services and it's more secure by using it's firewall rules and network security groups.

What do you dislike about Azure Linux Virtual Machines?

Only the price of Azure Linux Virtual machines is high compared to other cloud service providers other than that it's good VM.

What problems is Azure Linux Virtual Machines solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps us in scaling the application along with it we can implement high availability using scale sets and create a fault tolerant system and it's more helpful while working using terraform and we can provision resources in no time.

What do you like best about Azure Linux Virtual Machines?

The one thing that I like the best about Azure VM is that it is really easy to connect with SQL databases, Azure datafactory, Azure datalakes. Overall it provides us the complete IT infrastructure.

What do you dislike about Azure Linux Virtual Machines?

There is some lack of documentation and tutorials around usage of Azure VM. Rest Azure VM has been well fitting for our organization and community is also helpful.

What problems is Azure Linux Virtual Machines solving and how is that benefiting you?

The main problems that Azure has been solving for us are compute power which is scalable and reliable and secure integration between platforms and applications.

I have experienced in using several platforms and out of which what I feel the best is Azure, for it's much better and smooth hybrid cloud support than any other platform.

Great Virtual Cloud VM Solution

What do you like best about Azure Linux Virtual Machines?

The best part about the Azure Linux Virtual Machines is that it offers a good range of customizations as per your need like storage types based on your specific requirement and it is really easy to configure those. IT is a free solution to try which adds to its amazingness.

What do you dislike about Azure Linux Virtual Machines?

I have so far not faced any problems during my use but I wish to have more customized images that I could clone from to be provided. There were some occasional delays in connections but that too is not common

Recommendations to others considering Azure Linux Virtual Machines?

I would suggest anyone looking to try for a cloud VM solution to try this one as you get a trail too after which you can decide for yourself.

What problems is Azure Linux Virtual Machines solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am mainly using it to deploy many software solutions or running a virtual Linux system to do some Linux-related work as I mainly use a mac. IT saves me the trouble of having to dual boot etc.
