Azure Boards makes it easy to track work, manage tasks, and monitor progress in one place. I like how user stories, tasks, bugs, and features are connected, which gives a clear picture of what is being worked on and what is pending.

Sometimes the interface can feel overwhelming, especially when projects have a large number of work items, custom fields, and workflows.

I have also noticed that finding specific work items can occasionally take time if filters and queries are not set up properly.

Azure Boards is excellent if you’re working with tools within the Azure ecosystem like Azure, .NET, etc. For other cases, feel free to go for JIRA. Talking about Boards, it is designed for Agile teams. We can track Epics, features, tasks, bugs, user stories, backlogs well. There is excellent integration with Azure Repos and Pipelines as well - something that will greatly benefit any development team. The AI is still in beta, it is evolving, but I am confident it would do wonders when more AI features roll out.

No specific dislikes. Although, for a new user it would seem overwhelming, but once you get used to it, you would be thankful for the ocean of features.

Excellent project tracking tool. There’s complete traceability of features being built - requirement analysis, breaking user stories in tasks, assigning ownership and linking code commits and deployments. Teams can regularly track progress with this.

Easy of access, logical segragation of items, tagging the veriticals present within a project so that it is easily visible to all in the backlog and tasks section

The user interface can at times feel overwhelming for newcomers, particularly when navigating across several boards and queries. While the ability to customize workflows is a strong feature, it can also be quite complex and may demand extra time to learn. I have noticed that performance tends to slow down a bit when managing large projects with a high volume of work items. It would also be beneficial to have more built-in reporting templates available for quicker insights.

I can directly assign daily assignments to developers, and it's easy to keep track on their work each day.
