AutoTurn is feature-rich, easy to use, easy to customize, and has a large library of design vehicles.

It needs to be a bit easier to set up and maintain styles.

It is solving the problem of swept turn analysis. It helps us to determine if our proposed engineering solutions (including roads, intersections, accesses, roundabouts, etc.) are appropriate for the required design and control vehicles.

Works well and has continued to improve since inception. Realistic sized vehicles and turning radii. Works well once you have the hang of it.

Difficult to maneuver at times and manipulate existing autoturn scenarios. No standard american SUV and sedan sized vehicles. For a sedan you must find a size that fits that is typically European or Asian with a strange name.

Difficulty maneuvering larger vehicles (such as WB-55) and manipulating to align with loading per se.

Works as described. A little tricky to get a handle on, but works well once you are familiar with the software and how to get what you want.

I like how comprehensive the vehicle catalogue is. I like that I can drive the vehicle freehand or using CAD linework for the pathing. I also like that the software uses different colours to clarify what part of the vehicle is tracking where. This software is essential to intersection design, especially roadways with large commercial vehicles.

I wish there was more ability to create custom vehicles. If your vehicle is not in the database you have to contact transoft to create it.

Learn to use it, it is very useful.

When dealing with large commercial vehicles such as a WB-36, we can truly determine if the designed geometry will allow the vehicle to turn through the intersection/roundabout. Since the software will show if it is a tire or the edge of the truck tracking over an area, we can decide if the over tracking is acceptable or not.

Its ability to simulate the turning vehicles radii with different vehicle types. Helps to design the roadway side streets at restricted conditions. Also enhances safety of the motorists by designing the right turn radii for the vehicles.

Would like to see more user friendly options in terms manual simulation tools.

It is helping us to design roadway intersections and turn radii for the side streets on Major Highways.

The easy of use and learning curve are minimal

There nothing to dislike. I have not encountered a problem that has made my design difficult to perfom.

To me this is the only software to use for your turning analysis of cars and trucks

The variety of vehicle options included and the ease of use of the software.

There aren't any preset turning templates included, you have to draw them basically freehand (which is both good and bad).

Am able to determine if the vehicle in question is able to make the required turning movements.

The accuracy that is attributed to make this product create a better design for my work.

Radii in traffic patterns for signal designs. I have benefited especially when designing radii for turning pavement markings across large intersections.

The ability to select specific vehicles for the turning movements was perfect for the level of service of the roadways on specific projects. It's integration into Microstation makes it very easy to use for turning movements in all directions.

For the project types we do at out company, I can't really say anything bad about this product.

If doing projects at intersections, this product is a must.

This product enabled me to locate the guide rail and roadway flare at an intersection of two township roads.
