It's simplicity. The software is built to automatically detect what's wrong with your audio and to apply the changes it deems necessary, then it let's you hear a comparison between before and after the changes and also gives you a simple account of what it has done, giving you the possibility to fine tune the changes.

It is almost an unknown program with no community to look for when you need to understand how to do something, This isn't that much of an issue actually because of the minimal and simple interface that guides you through your work.

I am able to quickly tackle many of the common problems when dealing with audio: hums, wind, background noises and I can fine tune all the changes made.

This program has a simple layout, in which you choose what to do, if need to restore, remasterize, or simply clean any audio, you may use the already preset settings or modify them until you obtain what you want. particularly the Declicking.DeCrackler and DeHisser may be modify just turning a knob un til you obtain what you need or like. The fade-in , fade-out features lets you do it as you prefer .

It lacks of editing tools present in the majority of programs like this. Sometimes it is hard to remove certain types of noise like the 60 hz hum. The learning curve may be steep for some, if good results are desired the program and its features have to be studied an applied.

It works pretty well, you will be able to modify its presets to obtain the results you want.

I use it mostly to modify interviews made outside where wind or other types of noise make the audio unpleasant. In general cleaning it is fast.
