Honestly, the thing I like most about the Astra theme is how it doesn’t get in your way.

You know how some themes feel heavy and slow, or force you to click through endless panels just to change a font? Astra isn’t like that. It loads almost instantly, and it works perfectly with page builders like Elementor or Gutenberg without any fighting.

The Astra theme is the lightest theme I've ever worked on for building the any websites for my clients. It me go to theme every time while building any site. It can be easily integrated with lot of good plugins that enables lot of customization. It has very good support when having any issues.

Over all working with the theme is good, only faces issues when there are any updates in theme, but it is resolved within few days. there can be some UI enhancements in the dashboard. All the other things are fantastic

Building a own theme from scratch and maintaining it with good security is a very difficult.

It’s intuitive and “relatively” easy for a non-coder.

Some third-party templates have presented challenges with functionality and component inclusion.

I used to have two full-time coders working with me so Astra provides a platform to build appropriate sites without proprietary code.

The main draw point to the Astra theme for me (years ago!) was it's comparative light weight for the amount of loaded features for my ecommerce application. However, where the Brainstorm Force / Astra team truly shines is the uncanny lengths the support team will go to when find true solutions to any (very occasional) issue which may. To me, that's the stuff that gets the gold star and prompted me to review here on G2.

Not really a dislike, but rather, with all of the improvements we now have embedded in the way we build sites, I think that the Astra theme as solid as it is, could likely benefit from a "peak in the structural basement" to possible clean or streamline the workings. The theme is too good to let age!

The Astra site is a clear business benefit for me as it is quick for my daily additions (even without any AI helpers). That's all I need is speed and strong structure. Astra gives me both.

A theme that 'gets out of the way' allowing you to use whatever page builder you like. Astra is well coded, reliable and hasn't created significant issues for us in the past five years.

There are some features, such as a mega menu, that are not intuitive to use. The header and footer builder are much improved, but some functions, like changing the breakpoint, now require PHP instead of just having a toggle in the Customizer.

It's our go-to theme for all WordPress websites. The industry leader for a reason.

The theme is super fast and very customizable. I use the Astra wordpress theme on a daily basis. Integration with other plugins are made easy and quick. There are just so many customizable features that takes my web development to the next level. They also have an amazing customer support system.

The free version is a little limited, but good over all. They should have added the forms on free templates. But wpforms integrate nicely.

It is the most feature-rich WordPress theme I have ever used (with the optional Astra Addon). It's extremely well-supported and regularly updated (often with useful new features).

It's not a problem for me because I have been using it for years but I would think that new users would probably struggle a bit finding their way around.
