The inerface and the easyness and also how easily i can implement.

Nothing as of now, because it has really good customer support as well.

I am using it in my class for my project to solve the path and quality problems like the non-linear ones as well as surfacing some data.

AssurX's product CATSWeb is a great QMS/PMQA targeted system with direct integration to the FDA's MedWatch program. It's simple to use, can be modified quickly & easily based on specific group needs, and has excellent record management including an audit trail containing complete record history.

The application is great (and reasonabily priced), but the support is stellar. AssurX provides far and away the best support I have ever received from a production product. There's a dedicated support team that are more like partners to me. Over the years, we've developed real relationships and worked through some serious challenges - it's not a revolving door of outsourced support and auto-reply links to unrelated "knowledge base" articles. This is incredibly refreshing.

Having used the product for a number of years now I understand why certain design choices were made, but sometimes navigating the management area of CATSWeb can be a little klunky (think of open browser tabs). They have, however, made improvements to this over the years and it's far from a show stopper.

The most helpful part of AssurX is the ability to configure it to our company needs. The biggest upside has been the ability to do away with the paperbased format we had and the ability to completely collaborate on document updates through the system has been a game changer as far as saving time. Electronic signatures have also been a big plus considering we no longer have to chase people down to sign-off on anything.

There isn't really much to dislike about AssurX but, if I had to pick one thing it would be the delay in converting word documents to PDF files. I'm sure this only happens as a result of the massive quantity of documents we've uploaded into the system and the wait isn't really that long, maybe a few seconds. Still very manageable.

Time consumption. With the ability to distribute everything elctranically and the escalation rules in place, we no longer have to wait on people to complete their tasks. The automated reminders send out emails to all responsible parties which againa helps out with not having to track people down.

They have created a powerful product that is easy to customize to meet our unique business requirements

The older user interfaces are old and dated

AssurX is a Highly Configurable product and the Configuration specialist are very responsive.

Using the Dev site as a template you can test out everything before migrating over to Production and know it'll be right.

When a Form is part of an SOP, but they're 2 separate documents in the system, it's not possible to have the same number auto-generated for both (FRM-1234 and SOP-1234).

The ability to generate fillable forms is also tricky

Their Professional Services team is full of dedicated and knowledgeable people who really want you to succeed and make it your own. They want the customer to be able to configure new forms and workflows without having to contact them for everything

Using Crystal Reports for reporting is difficult.

cost, initial configuration is key - like any serious enterprise level SW if it is not set up to follow business processes it can become difficult to use. The learning curve to support changes is steep, again it's enterprise level sw that requires a trained super user to configure well.

Managing corrective actions, non-conforming material, customer return/repairs, process/product deviations, certificate of conformance, internal audits. maintaining records of actions, aggregating/trending failures across products and parts.
