Demurrage calculation is sometimes haphazard and confusing. More number of analytical tools can be inserted on analytics side to increase the scope of software.

Most effective tool in planning and scheduling refinery activities. It is also best suitable for dock scheduling, pipeline scheduling and optimization purposes.

What problems is Aspen Petroleum Scheduler solving and how is that benefiting you?

Scheduling and planning of supply chains was the main purpose of using this. Interactive GUI helped in simulating and solving some of the most complex optimization problems.

Aspen Petroleum Scheduler: it is a software that I like because it increases the production performance with shared tests and clear objectives of representation of process units, it also creates mixing correlations with the planning solution

What do you dislike about Aspen Petroleum Scheduler?

The only annoying thing is that it preselects the thermodynamic models more appropriate for the given process. However, they are able to cancel this step and as you go along this condition may change as requested by the system when sometimes they are not predictable.

I recommend this Software because for the industry it represents great systematic advances, industrial petroleum processes have a highly rewarding support with Aspen Petroleum Sheduler
