I’m not overly technical, so I can’t speak to all the features of Artie. As a manager of a small team of business intelligence analysts, what I can speak to is the improvement Artie has made to our pipeline reliability. Prior to Artie, I’d get stakeholders asking about issues with our reporting - something was missing or out-of-date and they wanted to know why. 90% of the time it was a pipeline issue such as a failed procedure that pulls data from our source database to a table BI uses. Issues like this encouraged stakeholders to distrust our reports, diminishing our contribution to the company.

Enter Artie. Reliable replication with straight forward pricing and enough levers to ensure we stay efficient. The product is solid, so if you think Artie could be a fit I’d encourage you to make leap and give them a chance. That’s what I did over a year ago and I’m happy I did. I heard about them from a Hacker News post and checked them out, but they didn’t support our source (SQL Server) at the time. Nevertheless I reached out and met with the founders and they were willing to do the work to make Artie viable. Over the last year we reached out to them about some relatively obscure questions related to our pipeline, and they were more than willing to help us. It’s hard to overstate how nice it is to work with a vendor that actually cares.

One of the strenghts is the ease of use. It has a intuitive interface that makes the setup and deployment straightforward. Also has support for a wide range of data sources and destinations. The support team is always helpful.

Limited offline support because it doesn't have a large user community.

The amount of databases that we have and we need to replicate in almost real time and Artie has helped us.

The most helpful thing about Artie is the ease of use and how fast you can set things up. We have multiple integration options with fully managed connectors. Have found the tool to be a lot more efficient than traditional ETL.

The fast response time and support from the team hasn't left much to be desired.

We saved a lot of time and money directly replication data from our RDS into snowflake rather than creating a manual integration into AWS.

Artie delivers fast, reliable CDC replication from our relational databases, which has made stale or missing data a thing of the past for both customer-facing products and internal products. We no longer have to worry about the complications or liabilities of managing our own replication infrastructure.

Honestly, we haven’t encountered any drawbacks or pain points in two years of use.

Before Artie, we used AWS DMS and still spent too much time monitoring and troubleshooting our replication pipelines. With Artie, replication-related problems are almost non-existent, our data stays accurate and fresh with very low lag, and we spend less time on manual intervention. This has led to major time savings, better data quality, and far quicker insights for business and product decisions.

As a product manager, one of the most impactful changes we’ve seen since implementing Artie has been the improvement in customer satisfaction tied directly to more reliable and near real-time reporting. Artie reduced our replication lag dramatically, allowing us to power dashboards and automated reports that our customers rely on to make time-sensitive decisions. Beyond performance the UI is intuitive and the support from the Artie team has been consistently responsive and thoughtful. It’s rare to find a data tool that balances technical depth with such ease of use.

Nothing notable so far, Artie has exceeded expectations, especially compared to other solutions we evaluated that struggled with latency (Redshift) or required heavy configuration.

Artie is helping us replicate data in near real-time from our production databases into our warehouse, particularly for high-volume tables like SMS messages. This powers faster internal decision-making and enables our customers to access up-to-date reporting without manual workarounds. It’s been a huge unlock for both operational efficiency and product reliability.

Artie has become a fundamental part of our tech stack - the product not only solves our real-time replication problems, but the ease and simplicity of its implementation makes it a product hard to match. Artie bolsters a simple yet effective analytics dashboard that allows us to dig deep into replication issues with a low barrier of entry that enables us to get pipelines up and running within minutes.

Most importantly, the team behind the product provide exceptional customer service with lightning speed, and are constantly iterating and improving on their product while taking into consideration our demands and needs.

Artie has solved for us what other tools couldn't, no complaints so far.

The best part of Artie is their data-streaming capabilities that reduce latency in our reporting metrics: decreasing time to analysis.

The only complaint we have with Artie is that they don't have third party api connectors yet so we can't move more of our data with them.

Streaming Postgres Data to DW at a much more competitive rate than Fivetran.

Artie successfully manages and hides all the complexity that goes into streaming database replication. Their setup process is easy, and once you've finished setup it Just Works. When needed, the support is amazing.

This is not specific to Artie, but streaming CDC is challenging! Database configuration is harder for CDC than for other incremental syncing methods, but completely necessary for larger data volumes.

Artie makes it possible for us to stream large events streams (millions of rows per days) to our warehouse for analysis. This would simply not be possible using other sync methods.

As a rapidly growing company we have constant pressure from the business to provide real time data insights to our customers and internal stakeholders; Artie is a solution that allows us to focus on actionable insights, rather than data pipeline management.

We were stalled on several projects while attempting to build the pipelines and hire staff to manage them. Artie has solved those challenges for us masterfully.
