"Great Software"
What do you like best about Arena PLM & QMS?

Arena PLM & QMS is extremely user friendly and easy to use. It helps simplify customer support. It's also incredibly easy to integrate into your businesses day to day needs. It's very easy to train people on and easy to implement into other softwares. We use it every day in my company and it has a ton of features.

What do you dislike about Arena PLM & QMS?

There's nothing that I dislike about the software.

What problems is Arena PLM & QMS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Arena PLM & OLS solves a lot of problems for my company. It benefits me as a user because it's so simple to use and really helps to streamline things. It makes my daily productivity so much easier to maintain and helps me achieve my goals. It solved the problem of introducing new products to the market while also ensuraing compliance. My company dealt with an issue regarding a product that resulted in a lot of money lost and Arena helps prevent issues like that from occurring again.

What do you like best about Arena PLM & QMS?

I like that it is a very friendly platform to work on.

It is an excellent platform for document control, BOM and part number spec.

What do you dislike about Arena PLM & QMS?

In the item there are fields that are mandatory to fill out but there are really too many of them. Furthermore, I do not consider it necessary that once all the approvers give their approval, the document control team is required to approve again.

What problems is Arena PLM & QMS solving and how is that benefiting you?

New platform changes have made documentation changes faster.

What do you like best about Arena PLM & QMS?

Overall, my experience with Arena has been very positive. I like the scalability, ease of use, and integration potential the most.

What do you dislike about Arena PLM & QMS?

Performing administrative corrections (e.g. typographical errors) on approved documents requires an Administrative Change Order.

What problems is Arena PLM & QMS solving and how is that benefiting you?

I like the interconnection of all aspects of quality management in one system and the interaction with one another.

We manage all quality and manufacturing documents in Arena. Training is easier to manage and track. We use Change Control, Projects, Quality world for Audits, CAPAs, NCRs, Complaints, Investigations, DHF, Management Review, Technical Files and keep track of Suppliers, SAR, SCAR etc. We use Arena for as much as possible and have leveraged their tools to digitize many paper processes. During audits, the Arena system presents very nicely.

What do you like best about Arena PLM & QMS?

The application is releatively easy to use once the learning curve, which is not steep, has been climbed. The interface is both thoughtful and efficient. The search function is very powwerful. Arena is used on a daily basis by our Users. Customer Support is immediate, and our designated Arena Solutions Architect is outstanding.

What do you dislike about Arena PLM & QMS?

There is a lack of dynamic integration between Quality Processes; e.g., one cannot see a list of CAPAs created in Arena from the CAPA Quality Process, from within another Quality Porocess, Complaints for example.

I dislike how there is no mobile application for this when we're on the move or out of the office

What do you like best about Arena PLM & QMS?

As a system administrator one the things I like best about Arena is the support we receive from both our success coach and our account manager. They have great avaialblity answer questions about the account and technical questions.

We like how the system allows for linkages between different activities in the software.

What do you dislike about Arena PLM & QMS?

There isn't much I dislike about Arena. We use analytics and wish there were ways to join the different worlds for reporting purposes

Allows for document control and training management of SOPs for remote staff. Seamlessly blend quality activities with configurable workflows to match our various procedures.

What do you like best about Arena PLM & QMS?

Arena is very user-friendly, houses all of your data in one place and as it is cloud-based you can access it from anywhere in the world without any of the IT overhead! It is very easy to review and access the relevant information including drawings and data sheets. You can customize your quality workflows and create different custom templates as well. BOM functionality with different viewing options makes it very easy to understand and the redline view is super helpful for reviewing ECO changes. Arena help feature is robust, and the customer support team is great and very quick to respond with solutions/suggestions.

What do you dislike about Arena PLM & QMS?

Integration solution for standard CAD softwares is not easy to implement and can be improved. Also creating custom reports can maybe improved by somehow providing a visual preview of the columns or by some other method.

What problems is Arena PLM & QMS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Only source of true information and houses all our quality records.

What do you like best about Arena PLM & QMS?

-Digitization of processes formally tracked via excel sheets and folder systems.

-Easy admin management tools allows for addition and removal of permissions and processes on the fly

-Responsive and friendly support teams usually respond within a day - most times within a few hours.

-Quick lookup of documents saved against item cards and quality processes streamline daily activities.

What do you dislike about Arena PLM & QMS?

-There is no way to track "decay" of items (such as calibration intervals or SOPs coming up for review) without using the Training World or a convoluted Quality Process. Would like the items themselves to have internal "decay" timers

-Grouping employees is difficult if not impossible. I may have to reach out to see if this is possible, but if it is it is not readily apparent I can make a "Quality Group", for example, and tag that group on projects across the workspace.

What problems is Arena PLM & QMS solving and how is that benefiting you?

-Arena is digitizing processes that were formally handled in dusty file cabinets and scattered excel files. Not only is this obviously more compliant, but it is much simpler for the team to work together and collect/manage data.

-The visibility of Change Management in Arena really lets people see exact what is going on with a part, from details and specs to sourcing and quality issues. This has cut down on requests for information significantly.

Powerful solution for keeping track of your product life-cycle process

PROS: Arena is great software for Product Lifecycle Management. This software allows you to control BOM (Bill of Material), changes and processes. It is easy to use and cost-effective solution. Arena provides you with multiple features for managing the product life-cycle and provides you with collaboration with vendors and CM (Contact Manufacturers). The software integrates with ERP packages and NetSuite. What’s more, if you want to implement a PLM solution at Start-up or SME (Small & Medium sized companies) this software is great option.

CONS: In my opinion, they need to work on their marketing strategies. With all of these options they offer, they could take #1 position in their area.

User-friendly and very useful software

PROS: Arena PLM is customizable software and easy to use, we managed to set up the software in very short time. In 1 week training, the software was ready to use by my team members. We have better access into delivery times and this helps us make better decisions. We increased our soundness and quality of our products. Also, Arena allows us to create “What if” shortage scenarios so we can work on our improvements.

CONS: It is complicated to capture a mechanical part of numerous processes and with numerous vendors. Also, it would be great if there was a dedicated entry for inventory that is in the process.
