It is straightforward to manage the application's lifecycle and user and environment management.

Sometimes, there is a delay in response. Hope this will be rectified in future updates.

We have use case to map the application storage into blob, were regulatory compliance and data integrating was our main priority, we get that done using this.

It's low cost and easy to setup.

Helps manage virtual environments from different leading vendors

Sometimes performance is an issue. Applications start a little slower.

VMware helps us in the App and data security. Its networking things help in connecting the Apps and data. The cloud of VMware is also very helpful for us to manage and protect our Apps.

As per my current experience with VMware, I don't get any feature to say I dislike it. In near future I might get some suggestions and what should I think if it adds up.

Currently, I don't face any problems with VMware I get whatever require for my things.

Application management is very easy to handle. You can deliver and implement your apps in realtime to all your VDI machines with just a few clicks and also a great way to keep your apps to date with all ur VDI machines having the same version.

only downside is that i havent been able to manage system updates through SCCM.

if you are looking for VDI solutions this is one of the best.

control and organization of endpoints as everything is under a single console and can be fixed if any issue arises within the same console.No need to a another lifecycle management app.

I like the usecase of appvolumes much more than the use of ThinApp. Appvolumes is a much more complete solution because once the app is assigned to a user/group, the user will have access to that app wherever they login (assuming the agent is present of course). Thinapp is similar in its deployment but not as integrated with the operating system and virtual machine.

I dislike how apps are updated. This prevents having to recreate the app all over again from the beginning saving a lot of time and potential configuration

We are solving the problem of deploying software with limited licenses to users logging in via Linked Clones. This allows us to keep track of license counts based on group membership in AD rather than violating license agreements or hoping that users just dont use the software beyond license limitations.

I like the "Lifecycle Stages" and the newly added function "Allow package delivery to any operating system" simplified application deployments across windows 10 versions.

We currently depend on the FSLogix to implement the Microsoft-owned profiles (Outlook, search, etc...). Also, performance could be a little better

Make sure you have a good inventory of your applications as well as take into consideration the opinion of the users of the applications at the time of implementation. Consider other applications such as FSLogix in order to deploy Office applications in the application virtualization project.

Application lifecycle is really simplified with App Volume 4

Vmware is by far the best software as far as virtualization is concerned.

I didn't have any significant complaints.

Helps in deployment, user management and controlling the end points.
