Ansys Discovery has one of the best real time stimulation to work with design. In manufacturing, this plays a huge role in designing and making the products more fitted for the area and needs.

Since Ansys is still fairly new in its niche, the integration requires some time for learning and then implementation.

some time fail very fine mesh simulation in ansy is not good.

It is first of a kind simulation driven design in which a user can easily do instant physics simulation, high fidelity simulations and 3D modelling in single platform.

Honestly I did not find any dislikes about Anaya discovery. It is not detailed simulation software but it can give you proper feedback in the early stage of design.

I can say this is the first of its kind which helps in early phase to answer on all design processes. As it has very easy interface to try on. The best tool even for who is currently studying or working professional both. I like best of on all features on this product.

The worst part only in this product I can part it out is bit on pricing features. Bu one can try asking the support team for pricing too. Or one of the other demerits but can be better is limited customisation. We can try for betterment of our use.

The best part which helped me in is Simulation where I would have done better, it combined various different simulation together. Also its interactive geometry has helped me a lot for modelling on User experience.

The simulation time can be tedious for some situations.

As per the competition, I am satisfied with the results it provides I mean it matches with my hand calculations. Computation time may be high in some circumstances but yes it matches with theoretical and practical results.

Ansys discovery is best for 3D simulation. In my mtech i did some experiments using this software, so we can get the similar result as like actual results. Also it is easy to use and provides better cutomer support.

There is not that much to dislike about it but according to meshing perspective it provide bit fine meshing as compare to other.

Like lid driven and pipe flow type mechanical-based experiments which is very beneficial.

Very intuitive and easy to use, regardless of the type of simulation you wanna do. Decent speed and accuracy. Good customer support and learning resources are available on the ALH (Ansys Learning Hub)

Obviously the accuracy and precision are not at par with ANSYS, but that's what you're also compromising for with the software. Slightly slower if you've an old GPU or if it's not powerful enough. It should also allow exporting in other file formats, rather than just discovery

It offers a quick and easy way to see how the design will behave by giving a quick and robust solution. It might not be accurate but very close to accuracy. It reduces the product design time significantly. Designer can arrive at a much more optimal design with much less CAE iterations.

I understand that accuracy is compromised when speed is needed but still the user friendliness can be worked upon. Creation of CAD and imposing boundary conditions can be improved. Few more types of boundary conditions can be added except simple flow and thermal cases.

It significantly reduces the product design time hence reducing the overall time from drawing to manufacturing.
