• Super easy to set up, didn’t need to dig through docs.

• I like how it just finds security issues on its own and tells me what to fix.

Monitoring is one part which is very essentials eg, VPC flow logs, s3 logs, API logs, system logs with aggregators etc . But analysing the logs as centralized hub , security hub provides the context. Along side coming to compliance , macie with its AI ML models , able to identify PII in S3. More that these, custome logs can also be formatter into ASAF using services like Lamba intervined. Which threat own threat intelligence capablitiy and custom integration to SIEM solution offers visibility across the environment. Apart from service, aws provides a lot of resources for industary standards and that keeps us upto date and skilled. Support is alwasys a second option , as I get everything from easy documented materials. Day to day getting used, gave a clear explames of scenarios where I can act upon a breach or an event with the available service. which helped me to understand the risks and what security controls are needed.

Image recongnikition where photocopies of Sensitive information are elsewhere, not sure where to get the docs. But with few service capablities, was able to do it.

No setup required. Recommendations given by AWS are a start pioint. Building layes of security is also notified with predefined rules and standards. Provides great source of references for creating and implementing an high level industry security best practices. Also offers suggestions in each layer.

I have 100+ servers. Most of the updates are automatic, but some applications are not. Inspector is great at determining what applications are installed and providing a list of which ones are out of date with regard to security vulnerabilities.

Our only issue is that it's not available when new regions are launched. I understand that it takes time to implement all resources in a new region, but I had hoped that it would be available within 6 months.

Automating vulnerability scanning on all my servers.

I used guard duty n inspector n these are very good services, they can provide security alerts after scanning aws resources.

Nothing to say everything work at very nice level

We can identify resources security issues n then we can remediate it to make it based on compliance

AWS provides a brief control over the infrastructure security, but two features i like the most are

1. AWS Security Hib.

Its a CSPM (Cloud Security Posture Management) solution for AWS that provides automated & continuous best practices security check on AWS resources.

2.AWS Amazon Inspector

I like how easy it is to implement, and that it is customizable as to which benchmarks you wish to apply.

I wish that is were more robust in allowing you to prioritize or classify the individual findings so that ones that you wish to ignore can be ignored.

We use this as part of our GDPR certification. And our patch meetings use the findings as a guide for what we should focus on.

We use this as a measure for monitoring our infrastructure to keep up with our certifications.

.No second thoughts required, it's easy to enable and let it do its own thing

Nothing, it's very easy to use and I like the product

I have used this previously but it helped me with auditing control

For me was a way different approach and all new concept on security and company compliance.

Using new tools and choices are on how to better stay sound compliance.

It’s all new way of thinking and that takes time to change in your mind.

Nothing is bad about this software. It’s easy and the price is good!
