Cost-wise, this tool is expensive compared to the competitors in the market. 24 x 7 online support is not available in every market. I think this is very important to spot opportunity

I like that there is training available all the time, so if you forget how to do something, you can easily pull up the training material.

I wish certain platforms were more configurable to your specific needs. If you know you're not going to use 5 out 10 fields on a form, it would be nice to have the option to remove those options altogether.

This solves the significant problem of remembering to do tasks or reach out to clients. You can set up reminders to tell you to call a past client or reach out with upcoming tasks that need to be completed.

Amadeus has evolved into a new, more user-friendly version that allows multiple users to use the system with only limited knowledge of the technical language. Training time for new users is therefore reduced, and new hires can be efficient quickly

Amadeus doesn't integrate all booking systems yet

Support can be challenging somtimes. Ensure to have an Amadeus representative as main person of contact for any urgent questions

It allows our department to have a general overview of all items team members are working on, it allows us to manage sales, bookings and payments globally with several users in different countries

Being able to merge in word make corrections and save without having to re-emerge again

Several steps need to be taken before something can be accomplished

Events not telling us when they have booked elsewhere. So a strict follow up date on the clients end would be wonderful.

It was very simple when using, and did not take long to learn how to use.

Have to enter the same information in many different places. Sometimes that gets time consuming when I am busy and is just a very unnecessary task.

Although I am not a direct end user of our Sales & Event software, the feedback I gathered from our Sales & Catering team was that the product is great. The Intuitive interface and the accuracy of the data are what our team really like the product. Having the cloud-based solution is very helpful as well, especially for our sales and catering team who are always on the road and there is a time they forgot their laptop, they can simply log in to any computer and access the information for a certain group.

Since we are on the hosted version, the common issues that we received from our end users are the speed when they fully utilize the program. There are instances that the printing is very slow as well as creating the BEOs. We would like to see the next 3-5 years that the Sales & Event Management software from Amadeus is fully integrated with our PMS systems and offer it as Saas product. One of the big factors as well as the pricing, it's quite expensive versus other competitors in the market such as Sales & Catering from Micros.

I would highly recommend the product, especially in the hospitality industry. The customer service from Amadeus is a top notch.

It has a huge impact on managing our banquet event orders and sales reporting.

I have used SalesPro for about 5 years now. It is pretty user friendly and easy to use. I like the simplicity of it and how well it is used.

In other systems, I have been able to assign one contact to multiple accounts without duplicating the contact. That’s probably the biggest thing I wish I had.

Great product - has templates for contracts that you can edit.
