First, and most important, is the performance- all test and live restores are quick and complete. Second, the dashboard is well laid out and easy to navigate, no problems understanding and working the system. Third, new accounts are automatically added, which is great for an organization that adds Teams almost every day. I enjoy feeling confident that my M365 data is backed up and available outside of Microsoft. I think it is extremely important for any M365 organization to have a third-party backup solution in place and tested.

I do not really have any downsides. Of course selling a service on top of M365 generates the inevitable question about why we are paying for M365 and need additional services with a monthly cost on top. Hornet Security is affordable and once the use case and importance of the data the organization stores in M365 are presented the platform is seen as a good investment.

M365 backup outside of Microsoft is critical. Immutable repositories of M365 data and the ability to restore to a point in time in a granular fashion remain one of the big needs for any SAAS platform. I use the VM backup as well and consider that a critical service.

Setting up the software is very easy and only takes a few minutes.

Setup is super easy. I can rest easy at night knowing our firm is protected and our data is backed up.

There are times when cache has to be cleared or it appears as though nothing is being backed up during initial setup. I did have to go in and walk through making sure backups ran successfully a few times, especially with Sharepoint sites.

Microsoft doesn't guarantee backup of your data. If something were to happen and data was breached and erased, Altaro keeps all of our data and at frequent points.

I love the fact that it has an excellent GUI. Easy to navigate and find what you are attempting to restore. I love that it's reliable and flexible. I looked at couple of other options but they were attempting to sell me more than I needed.

There isn't anything that I dislike about it. I've had no bad experiences with them yet! It is really easy to setup and they have a good support staff to help you out.

Reduces the need for local hardware costs for backups and the number of revisions that are offered is amazing. THe ability to sleep at night, knowing your files are backed up is a huge win for us.

The pst download is always gonna be broken into many downloads and parts. Can't multi choose to delete deactivated users that are not needed

For us as an MSP, backups are key to keeping client data safe. If it's a Virtual Machine or Office 365 subscription Altaro provide a solution to meet your needs. Ease of use with a clear CMC glass pane view, easy installation and management make this product great.

Not a lot to be honest, everytime I've had issues support has been there for a quick fix or an ongoing discussion with dev and management to make the problem go away.

Granular recovery of files in VMs and the same in Mail, OneDrive and SharePoint help greatly, and the recovery of whole mailboxes from the day you start your first backup is amazing.
