Alibaba Cloud is the best option for Asia Specific Data Centers for it's high availability, service, low costing and consistency. The SCUs(storage capacity unit) feature is amazing where user can get amazing discount on prepaying for their uses.

Service availability outside Asia can be much better. The awareness about Alibaba Cloud is bit less among engineers, which make hard to find engineers who are familer with Alibaba Cloud

Like other cloud service providers Alibaba Cloud is also providing a set of features of Cloud computing like Virtual Machine instances, huge space for blocks and contexts, data warehousing etc.

This is pretty cheap and secure enough to attract hosting flat files.If your company is located in Asia Pacific, Ali baba has a great presence and top notch service.

There may be security concerns from US companies to host sensitive data

This is as good as any leading public cloud storage. I would recommend it big time because it is very inexpensive.

We can host sensitive static files at a cheaper price that includes encryption as well

It's really secure storage service with a speed equivalent to a our own local datacenter storage servers. it's also globally diverse and makes work easier for remote employees and travelers.

from my experiance of using this solution, i don't have anything that i see as a shortcoming of the product.

Mostly use the cloud document center with some additional applications/archives. the speed and security is one of the advantages.

Best part is reliability, data is secure and encrypted and can be accessible all over the world.

I think it’s pricing, based on per GB usage. They should have some monthly based plan like come other cloud serivces.

In my company, it has been allowed to transfer the accumulated information we already had to this cloud service, enabling us to eliminate the physical disks that were more costly and required more maintenance. Now the data is in the cloud and is immediately accessible to our employees from any location they are in.
