Effective Image management tool

What do you like best about Active@Disk Image?

Easy to backup and manage Operating System images. The option to convert any active disk into an image is seamless. Burning the image into a disk or iso is a welcome advantage

What do you dislike about Active@Disk Image?

The option to troubleshoot based on logs is nonexistent. This option will allow the company administrators to resolve issues if something fails in the middle of the backup process.

What problems is Active@Disk Image solving and how is that benefiting you?

Benefits are having a backup of the virtual machine drives to a share location of a disk to recover or restore at a later point in time for users who perform test cases.

Simplified Image Deployment

What do you like best about Active@Disk Image?

Deploying this software has been a breeze! Our administrators have been able to leverage it for seamless deployment on various PC's and Tablets (Surface). The imagaing process is very quick now!

What do you dislike about Active@Disk Image?

It's been a little touch and go with Imaging Surface. It works, but it doesn't fully deploy all of the software. It also doesn't assign the Surface to our domain automatically. There have been some issues with that, but the administrators are constantly improving the imaging process.

What problems is Active@Disk Image solving and how is that benefiting you?

Being able to image pc's consistently vs. manually setting them up out of the box has been a lifesaver.

Active@ - fast imaging and a ton of tools

What do you like best about Active@Disk Image?

We use the software mainly to image our fleet of desktops and laptops. We have different images for each model of machine and have literally had no issues with it. We also use it for secure disk wiping with certificates. However, there are a lot of tools in the software that are useful too, such as file recovery and partition management.

What do you dislike about Active@Disk Image?

I can't think of anything I dislike at the moment

We are solving the problem of imaging both locally and over the network, secure disk wiping and hard drive file recovery

Best Hard drive Cloning tool

What do you like best about Active@Disk Image?

I have been using Active@ Disk Image to create the duplicate copy of data present in my hard drive. It allows cloning selected partitions present in the drive as well as cloning the complete hard drive at once. The copy it creates is the exact one and can be easily used while PC upgrades and taking regular backups.

What do you dislike about Active@Disk Image?

I like it very much because it doesn’t ask to restart the computer to create the hard disk image. Also it takes very less amount of time to clone the disk and I get the option to clone only the important sectors/files from the hard drive.

Recommendations to others considering Active@Disk Image?

I could not find any drawbacks in the tool so far. It has always successfully backed-up my hard drive.

I will definitely recommend it to the others who are looking for a back-up cloning tool for their business.

Active Disk Image saves my life

What do you like best about Active@Disk Image?

I love the fact that my files are backed up safely. I work at a college and unfortunately we frequently get viruses on our Local Area Network. By using Active Disk, our system is saved, along with all the student data.

What do you dislike about Active@Disk Image?

It can sometimes slow the operating system up while it is updating or backing up. Also doesn't always catch EVERY file I am trying to back up.

What problems is Active@Disk Image solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are trying to solve the issue of lost data files. Given the high number of student emails we receive daily, it is a given that some files will come across carrying viruses which damage the existing files, Backing up the system frequently with Active Disk helps prevent this.

Its UI could be more modern looking. The design is fine just a bit outdated.

Best Backup Software

We can get the exact copy using this software and store it in a folder. It helps to migrate data to another computer as a backup and keep it in case of emergencies

Active@Disk Image has all the standard features for cloning M2, SSD, and standard mechanical drives.

The software is missing granular controls, and runs heavy for processor and memory.
