This product has completely revamped our Payroll Department

What do you like best about About Time?

About Time has found the balance between customization and federal compliance - it's accommodated our 'quirks' as a company without sacrificing the accuracy and compliance that we need in order to go paperless. Their team is consistently responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful.

What do you dislike about About Time?

There's a learning curve in navigating the system (particularly for administrators). It isn't user-intuitive, though I understand why it's organized the way that it is.

What problems is About Time solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our accuracy and processing time has improved significantly since we fully implemented it. It's much easier for office staff to verify that employees were, in fact, onsite for the time that they're claiming and can quickly correct any mistakes before it's imported into our accounting software.

This product worked well for us but they are discontinuing it.

What do you like best about About Time?

About time was one of the few products we were able to locate that would do everything we needed it to do. We can collect time records offline and sync them later when the tablet has a signal. We also collect a lot of data that we need to gather for our timekeeping records.

What do you dislike about About Time?

There is no way to track time off banks or requests and approvals. The company informed us they will be discontinuing support of the product in the near future. We were forced to find another product. They have a new product, we did not like it as much as About time and were able to find a product we liked better.

What problems is About Time solving and how is that benefiting you?

This program collects employee's in and out punches to create electronic timecards for our employees. We use this information to process payroll each week. About time has made our payroll process faster and more accurate.

Simplifies Job Costing, But Integration Issues Need Attention

What do you like best about About Time?

It has made tracking job costs much simpler, especially with the option to clock into several jobs at once.

What do you dislike about About Time?

The integration with Deltek was unreliable and kept breaking.

What problems is About Time solving and how is that benefiting you?

This tool is useful for monitoring expenses on individual projects, and it also helps ensure employee accountability through features like clock-in photos and GPS tracking.

Horrible software

What do you like best about About Time?

There is nothing I like about it. Would never recommend

What do you dislike about About Time?

Not user friendly from an administrative stand point. Also does not integrate with accounting software. Would like integrated software as promised and much more user friendly. In addition for it being 2020 I feel like the interface and report modules and options are from 1990

Go with another company

What problems is About Time solving and how is that benefiting you?

None, if I could go back in time I would of gone with another company. I have used other companies in the past and in my opinion other than being difficult to use and maintain there is nothing special about this time module.
