I like all about 500px, it is fantastic.

I love that I am able to upload high-quality images and that they have reviewers that take a look at the uploaded images and provide feedback. The images that are stored on 500px are the best images that you have created and established for your agency.

I find it hard to earn money. I submitted a few pictures but not sure how to really commercialize and improve to meet market needs. It's also hard to find photographers at my same level - it's very intimidating to see all of the ultra experience professionals and makes me hesitate posting more photos that are not as good.

Search categories could be more accurate to facilitate looking for content in your design/style area. It would be great to have a feedback loop or a mechanism to get more experienced photographers to help you improve your work, something like mentors or advisors that you could get in touch depending on which topics you want to work on

Try it! is easy to get into, no upfront cost and the inspiration you can get out of it is nearly unlimited. You want regreat it having it in installed in your phone and sneak peak it every now and then to find that amazing picture that inspire you to go out to take your own shots.

It's my main source of inspiration when I'm planning a photography trip or shooting session. It helps me stay in touch with a great artist from all over the world and see what's up and coming in terms of the styles I personally like for my work.

I like that there is a high standard for quality work. I know that if I browse 500px the majority of what I will be seeing is professional looking photographs from dedicated photographers, not snapshots from amateurs. In addition to hosting my own work, I like to visit the site for inspiration. I love the ability to curate collections of images I like to go back to later and to follow photographers I like. I also like the option to sell my own work if I choose to, and the slightly social aspect of liking and commenting the work of others. 500px is actually one of my main sources of photographic inspiration when I am looking to try something new or need some motivation to get back out there and shoot.

I actually don't really have much of a dislike here. If anything, it could be the upload limit I guess, but I respect that because it keeps people uploading only their best work and not just bulk uploading everything in their portfolio.

Respectable website for showcasing high-quality photographs for professionals.

Right now it is enabling me to get my photography viewed on a respectable site, rather than one in which anyone and everyone is uploading snapshots of their grandkids and birds on their feeders.

500px is very vast. It has many great content curators and categories, you'll find everything you're looking for!

Costs are quite high, competition is usually cheaper. But the quality is very high as well
