Could not be simpler to purchase a domain from them! in addition I picked IONOS because I'm a webflow user and they play very nice together.

Nothing so far it's be flawless! I really liked the selection and checkout process.

Easy to use and their instructions were very clear.

Whenever I have had a problem, it has been very easy to reach someone by phone who is knowledgable and eaget to resolve the issue,

I don't know of anything I would point to as negative about Ionos.

I like the ability to manage mhy own server, add products I prefer, deal with issues myself, vs having to pay my webhost to manage issues for me, and having the ability to take care of my own websites.

Being forced to learn how to manage my server, with little to no knowledge. The ability to learn how to manage the server and the tasks required can be complex, for someone who is not a computer programmer.

Read everything you can about setting up your server and domains. IONOS uses Plesk as its control panel, so you'll need to read up about how to use that as well. If you need help, call support, or use the community help forum. You can also look for and use videos online. The server setup is more complicated than what most people use for basic control panels, but if you ask questions, ask for help, and read everything, you'll get it eventually. It'll be worth it in the end.

Ionos offers the user an ability to manage their own server and, subsequently, their websites, vs having to depend on a company to do it for them, enabling users to have more control.

I have been with this company since long before they were called ionos and they have always maintained a high quality of service and support anytime I have ever had a problem. I have had damn near 100% uptime on the close to 20 websites I host with them.

One thing I dislike is that when I opened my account it was a US site only and since I have built my account on a US site I am billed in USD and the only way to change is to migrate to the .ca site which is never going to happen.

Do your research and I am sure you will come back to these guys based on your findings. The service is second to none and they kill the pricing of others.

They provide flexible, affordable, easy-to-use hosting with good performance if your needs are small or medium-sized.

The UI can be overwhelming for beginners and custom images and third-party integration are not provided features

I like the annual fee price and all the options available to users, for hosting my domains.

If one is used to the standard Control Panel found at most web hosts, like GoGaddy, the hosting at IONOS is a challenge to learn, and there's definitely a bit of a learning curve.

I have had a lot of problems with previous web hosting companies, in terms of down time and updating my sites. IONOS has had virtually no down time, and I can easily update all my hosted sites, using the Plesk control panel offered by IONOS.

I LOVE having the ability to update the plugins and themes for all my WordPress websites, from one location, within the control panel!

I dislike having to figure out much of how the control panel works, because it's so different than other popular and previously-used control panels offered by other webhosts.

There is a bit of a learning curve, and since most people who use cloud servers supposedly "already know" how to use them, 1&1`Ionos support is not always helpful. I suggest you join the Ionos Support Community and search for "how to" videos on YouTube and online.

Through 1&1 IONOS Cloud Hosting, I'm able to have more control over my servers, and obtain much faster speeds than I realized with other webhosting companies.
