BookingBug is a cloud-based scheduling software and appointment fixing tool. This software helps in providing online booking solution for several service industries. It is beautifully designed with an array of useful registration and reservation features, besides multiple scheduling ones. You can do resource, employee, appointment, class and facility scheduling electronically. You can also do event and activity registration both online and onsite. BookingBug supports online payment processing, calendar management, multiple rate plans etc. Events, Appointments and Queuing functionalities are available with this software. The software offers omnichannel and comprehensive scheduling solution.

Booking Bug is an excellent low cost…

Booking Bug is an excellent low cost option for online bookings. They don't offer a great deal of support for small businesses, so should you need support in building your site, then search for me on Facebook "Booking Bug Independent Support" and see if I can help.

Effective system that generally works very well

After a very frustrating time trying to use help pages and contact support, once I finally found the telephone number, it was answered very promptly, by a very knowledgeable and helpful person.The system itself is flexible, works very well and, once I found the support telephone number, support was very good indeed.

What do you like best?

The parent-child-child functions are a key feature to us and JRNIs flexibility to control services across multiple partners

Translation to other languages is cumbersome.

What do you like best?

Love how easy it is to setup and control the system, How flexible and powerful it is. Responsive and effective team based in London. Have a low cost for small business, The software helps a lot to us for online bookings and the best part is that it is updated and improving every time

What do you dislike?

The reservation widget does not always respond in a great way, for that reason the guest system is not as good and precise as I would like it to be

The software helps a lot in your needs and every time it keeps improving, if at any moment you have a problem they will be there to help you, I would totally recommend this software

"Awesome flexible and very useful booking system"

What do you like best?

Customer service and support for the client is top notch! Versatile for a lot different fields of business, very fast to set up. The software has everything you ever need for your online bookings. And is still improving and developing. Worth your money

What do you dislike?

Product is just little complicated to use, it has quite a steep learning curve at the beginning but is well worth it. The online booking widget is not responsive great and therefore the guest booking system is not as good as it could be

Recommendations to others considering the product

It does not need a lot of recommendations, since it is easy to use and you can adapt to the software quickly. They have a great enterprise support and can build highly bespoke systems to customers demands, so although we are a small business, I think big business can benefit significantly from Bookingbug- they have had a lot of success in this department already

It has helped a lot to improve our work and service, Now we are more quick than before. excellent software at a low monthly price, would like to see more regular updates for this software

What do you like best?

The initial WOW of BookingBug as a powerful solution for scheduling purposes

What do you dislike?

BookingBug wasn't the best experience for us. The way we were planning to integrate with Salesforce was more difficult than we had imagined. As one of the first US based companies to go live with BookingBug, the time zone difference between here and the UK made it difficult to arrange support.

Recommendations to others considering the product

BookingBug was a cheaper solution than others that we looked at when we attended Dreamforce. The solution can be a powerful one for companies who are actively targeting their consumers. BookingBug is a great way to create consumer friendly channels for which to capture appointments with customers or businesses.

Appointment scheduling and automation for a team of sales personnel. Calendar aggregation.

Used BookingBug for 18 months because…

Used BookingBug for 18 months because it offered a lot of configurability. Support was generally good although some of the problems shouldn't have made it into a commercial product in the first place - eg conflicts in configurations that resulted in payments failing. But the interface was always unattractive and the app both limited and unreliable. The impression overall was that this was a company focused on big clients with extensive customisations of their own. Defective GDPR implementation finally drove us away and I'm glad to say that 18 months on there are better products for small businesses with equal or better features and lower costs.

Overly complicated, occasionally breaks with little support

I've used BookingBug for a few years now and it's overly complicated and still doesn't provide what I want.Most of the time it works fine. About once a year the email reminders stop working. I raise the issue, they check the system, close the issue and about three months later it starts working again. No feedback about what the issue is or when it was fixed.I have my diary so customers book reservations which I then confirm once I'm happy with their booking. Recently a customer received a booking confirmed email before I'd even had the reservation email. I raised this, they tested the system and closed the issue again with no feedback.Very poor service. I'm seriously thinking of going elsewhere.
