Proficonf provides its users a way to set up HD video and audio conference calls simply through a browser. After registration, users need to set up a room and share the link with the guests. Guests can then click the link to join the calls. Users can add up to 250 participants in a single conference call while accessing controlling options such as bringing to the stage, block or mute camera, block or mute microphone, restrict chat and more. It is possible to request guests to contribute and send instant requests for the enabling of mics and cameras. Various user roles, including the host, moderator, speaker, and participant, can be assigned to the guests. The tool has adaptive video conferencing technology for connections with low bandwidth and was tested on speeds as low as 256 kB/s.
