Bookbird is a cloud-based virtual bookkeeping solution, which includes features such as reconciliations and progress reporting. Bookbird works with Xero to reconcile bank transactions that have been imported into Xero with your chart of accounts. As well as Xero transactions, Bookbird can also record and reconcile cash transactions. Bookbird sends monthly progress reports, which includes the bank balances for the last three months, a snapshot of overdue accounts payable or receivables, as well as cash activities and expenses. Bookbird lets you electronically submit invoices to be processed by taking a picture of them, and then sending them to your unique Bluebird email address. You can also add on more services, such as payroll processing, including the ability to approve leaves, and prepare and send payslips.
