One Identity has acquired OneLogin, a rival to Okta and Ping in sign-on and identity access management

The identity and access management space has been witnessing some major action this year. Adding to the list is OneLogin’s acquisition by One Identity. OneLogin has raised $330million over the years, but the terms of its acquisition weren’t disclosed.

Microsoft acquires Ally.io to improve employee experience by aligning people’s work with team goals and company mission

The Redmond giant is beefing up its software offerings. It has acquired OKR software Ally.io, which will become a part of its employee experience platform, Microsoft Viva. The price of the deal hasn’t been divulged, but the Seattle-based Ally had raised $76million in its three-year journey.

Coding platform GitLab aims for nearly $9 billion valuation in U.S. IPO

Gitlab, a popular continuous integration software, is planning to list itself on NASDAQ with a valuation of $9billion. It plans to sell Class A shares at a share price between $50 and $60. It’ll trade under the symbol GTLB, and was last valued at $6billion.

Box adds new integrations with Microsoft, Slack, steps up security

Cloud storage company Box has introduced new integrations with Microsoft and Slack. These would enable real-time co-authoring, the ability to save edits on Microsoft Office files, and uploading Box files directly through Slack among other things.

SaaS companies that got the funding this week

Cloud security provider Orca Security nabs $550million

Orca Security, a company that secures public cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and more – has extended its Series C funding by another $550million. Valued at $1.8billion, the fund infusion was led by Temasek.

Notion reaches $10billion valuation, boosted by remote work — and TikTok

Popular note-taking company Notion has been seeing stupendous growth. It has nabbed a $275million funding, which has increased its valuation five-fold to $10billion. Led by Coatue Management and Sequoia, the amount will be used for amplifying Notion’s platform, and hiring.

Aquant announces $70million Series C funding round to revolutionize the service industry using artificial intelligence

Referring to itself as a service intelligence automation platform Aquant has closed a $70million Series C funding round. Led by Qumra Capital, Insight Partners, and Pitango Growth, the startup will be growing its engineering, client services, and go-to-market teams.
