Hotel SaaS SiteMinder joins unicorn club 
The unicorn club in Australia has just welcomed another startup. Dubbed SiteMinder, it’s a SaaS play for hotels in the burgeoning online accommodation industry, which the company claims have grown 11 percent annually in the last 15 years. 

Pune-based SaaS startup ExtraaEdge raises $700k in Pre-series A round from Sprout Venture Partners, others 
Aimed at educational institutions to help them with student registration to automating marketing and having a full-fledged CRM, ExtraaEdge acts as a one-stop suite. It also uses data analysis to automate sales and leads processes.
